Hi everyone! I'm Mia. Welcome to my personal blog. In this post, I want to talk about recent purchase product from wardah cosmetic. I buy this product from local convenience store and already try for few weeks. So, I decide to write blog review about this product. :)
This product cost IDR 38.000. The packaging is plastic bottle with transparent blue color. The content is clear liquid with light texture. It has a slight fragrance when apply the liquid onto the skin.This product is dermatology tested and Halal label on the packaging.
This product contains Adenosine, Sodium PCA, Sodium Hyaluronate, and Allantoin that helps to make your skin feels softer, supple, and stay moisturized. This product remains me with old time favorite product which is Hada Labo Gokujyun Light Lotion that contains sodium hyaluronate, but that product contains more than one sodium hyaluronate that will make my skin feels supple and softer.
Sodium hyaluronate is the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid enhance the appearance of dry or damaged skin by reducing flaking and restoring suppleness. Hyaluronic Acid is also used to thicken the aqueous (water) portion of cosmetics and personal care products. When applied to the surface of the skin, hyaluronic acid also help reduce wrinkles, redness and dermatitis.
Adenosine is yeast-derived ingredient that functions as a good soothing and skin-restoring agent. Adenosine has proven anti-wrinkle benefits due to its ability to energize skin's surface so it looks smoother and younger. Naturally present throughout the body, adenosine is a beneficial ingredient all skin types can use.
Allantoin is an effective anti-irritant for the skin, calming and soothing sensitive areas. It has been used to effectively help promote wound healing. It helps with cell regeneration, so that's why it has been used on treatments for skin which has suffered abrasions or burns. Allantoin is considered an effective moisturizing ingredient when used in skincare, and its gentle, non-irritating qualities make it an excellent addition to anti-aging products for those with sensitive or easily irritated skin.
Sodium PCA is the sodium salt of pyroglutamic acid (also known as PCA). PCA is a naturally occurring component of human skin and a part of the "natural moisturizing factors" (NMF) that maintain a healthy epidermis. Sodium PCA is very hygroscopic, attracting moisture from the air. Natural component of skin, PCA (pyrrolidone carboxylic acid) is also a very good hydrating agent. Sodium PCA also functions as a skin-replenishing ingredient.
It also contain seaweed extract that packed with vitamins and minerals. It helps to soothe, soften, and reduce sensitivity. The seaweed cells are surprisingly similar to skin cells, so it helps protects and maintains your skin's natural balance while defending against irritation. :) So, I think this product contains all good ingredients that need for my skin.
Conclusion:
- This product is not expensive and easily find on local stores.
- This product is Halal and dermatology tested.
- This product has clear liquid contents with light texture.
- You don't need to use a lot of contents. After cleansing, pour some drops of this product onto your palms and gently apply to your skin.
- Apply this product before use facial moisturizer. Do not apply around the eye area.
- This product contains Sodium PCA, Allantoin, Hyaluronic Acid, and Seaweed Extract that helps to hydrate and moisturize your skin.
- This product contains fragrance. You can smell a slight scent that slowly reduce. However, I don't get any skin irritation when use this product. For people who have extremely sensitive skin, make a patch test before use regularly. If you experience skin irritation, please stop use the product and consult with dermatologist.
I have oily and acne prone skin. When use products contains a lot fragrance/perfume and alcohol, my skin tends to get more irritated and acne appears. It is hard to find good products that not contains harmful chemical ingredients with reasonable price. There are reasons why oily skin can easily get acne. It because excess sebum/oil production due to lack of hydration deep within. So, that's why it is not good to remove oil/sebum from the skin.
I prefer use hydrating products to keep my skin feel hydrated that will helps to reduce oil production and prevent acne on my skin. I can see my skin gets saggy and appearance of wrinkles. My age is middle 20, so that's why I can see signs of aging on my skin. It becomes more visible, so I need to maintain my skin. I don't care with my mom who keep annoyed me for spend money to buy skin care products.
